Jodie began modeling at the age of 16 – discovered by photographer Terry O’Neil on a beach in Barbados. She spent her career modeling for leading brands including Chanel, Ghost, Lagerfeld, Monsoon, Motorola and Ernesto Esposito, as well as featuring in campaigns for Chloé ‘Innocence’ perfume and Yves Saint Laurent. Kidd has graced the covers of British Vogue, The Face, and Elle magazine Australia, Italy, Portugal, Singapore, Sweden and the United States.

More recently, she has made television appearances on Top Gear (2003, 2011), Strictly Come Dance (2008), Celebrity Masterchef (2014) The Jump (2015) and more.

Now, Jodie has ventured into philanthropy and is a producer of the musical Yarico, based on 17th-century operetta Yarico and Inkle. The story of Yarico, a slave on the Spanish main who protects an English sailor, Inkle, who goes on to betray her and sell her into slavery on Barbados.

Jodie aims to take the story of Yarico around the UK and beyond to educate others on the dark heritage of slavery and how it still affects us in modern life.
